@Novelty77 absolutely gorgeous pieces. The PP is likely not in the cards for me but my next will be a Reverso. So elegant!

I guess I should have added that it's a model I've been coveting for some time that's out of my budget at retail.

Kenjo? Looked it up online. Is it legit?

Never personally bought anything there, but it's been around for a while, has a large number of reviews on Yelp and seems legit. When I went there last week, all of the Alpina that I was looking at was 100% authentic.

Took some pics of my FC watch and Jean Rousseau watch strap intended to match my favorite loafers...picked up a matching belt as well! The perfect shade of brown IMO.

Thanks gentlemen!

This on a nato would be my ideal summer watch.

There are all the brand boutiques and the big ADs (Wempe, Cellini, etc.), but I assume you don't need to be told about those. In my opinion, much more interesting are the vintage / independent shops.

Michael Ashton and Madison Time offer two extremely well-renowned Patek collections--perhaps two of the best in the country if not the world. Prices can be steep compared to less well-known dealers, but they have a lot a rare and hard-to-get pieces in original, unpolished condition. Madison Time is by appointment only, but can accommodate with a few hours notice. Michael Ashton you can just drop by, though if there is something you want to see in particular, I'd recommend calling in advance to arrange a viewing.

Aaron Faber is great for overall vintage and grey market selection. Central Watch in Grand Central is hit or miss but can have some Rolexes worth looking at.

If you are downtown in SoHo, there is a new lifestyle/concept store called Material Good that is an authorized dealer of Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille. Last time I was there, they had a 15202 in stock and ready to sell at retail price--I would have pounced on it if not for a truer target in my sights. They also sell some interesting vintage pieces, including a 1960's Breguet Type 20 in original, unpolished condition. Pretty damned fantastic. That said, it's a very tightly curated collection. You don't go there to see dozens and dozens of watches.
