FBWs: I write to you this morning not as a barn weasel, but as a pack rat. I am about to fly to Seattle for six days. In addition to running and hiking shoes, what shoes should I pack? While I am there, I will wear polos or OCBDs with jeans or khaki chinos, and I am wearing a tan suit to an outdoor wedding. I am limited to the following shoe options: white Vans sneakers, brown suede Bleecker Streets with a vibran sole, brown suede Clarks desert boots, brown calf penny loafers, oxblood strands with a Dainite sole.

I am inclined to take the Bleecker Streets and the white vans, but my concerns are that the suede would be less than ideal in rain, and that I could use something less delicate than suede boots but dressier than vans for a long day of walking in and out of shops, restaurants and bars, and other touristy things.

Bleeker Streets and Oxblood Strands. Spray the suede with Tarrago Nano at least 30 minutes before use.

My walnut Wednesday evolved to a woven Wednesday. Lauderdales.

No theme (Walnut/Warwick Wednesday, etc) for me today, bourbon Strands:

The heel cleaned up nicely after the road rash incident last Thursday, another coat of polish and it should be completely gone:

Sounds to me like your penny loafers would work well with what you're going to be wearing. Nice and simple.

I think these were from the golden age of the old MTO program.

They are still listed on the Shoebank site, but they never disappeared from there.

Maybe browse from an incognito browser session and see how it looks. I'm wondering if cookies or some sort of cached portion of the site is messing with you...

Nope gone! Says not available in my favorites now.

same size as other 65 last shoes?? ive read a couple reviews saying they seemed a little bigger than their strands and PA's, i figure those are likely in the minority tho

Wear something comfortable as you'll be standing quite a bit.  I took him home today in my walnut Strands, because it is Wednesday after all.

@robster35

Same size as those. The only 65 last shoe I ever downsized from a 9.5d to 9d was the unlined neumok in acorn hill fire I just bought and that is likely because I plan to wear sock less and the rumor that the made for Nordstrom shoes may fit a bit bigger. Don't know if there's any truth in that.
