Thanks that really helps!
I have a Bradley on the 511 and a Harrison on the 333. I'm probably closer to a 12.5 B on the brannock, so I can wear a 12 B on the 65 and the 201, but I had to do some stretching on the toe of my Harrisons. In my experience the 511 is wider and rounder than the 333.
Well I ordered some Rutledges on the bank and I'm crossing my fingers that they fit and don't have major issues. I ordered 2 pair just in case since its coming from CAC... I guess it could end with $20 worth of restocking but I had to try, love the shoe look too much not to.
It would be great to see both of the same size and from the same angle. I feel like the difference in size and the perspective is giving the Hopkinson the edge. The toe on the Exchange Place isn't so squared as to put me off of it. I must say six eyelets is probably preferred for me at least, but is it all worth an extra $100?
I'm not sure how old the pair of Strands is, but have you tried calling customer service on either pair? I would think at least on the first quality pair, they should be able to do something for you if they are relatively new. They even performed a complimentary refinishing on a pair of second quality Bourbon shoes for me because some of the burnishing rubbed off the toe. I am only a few months new to the brand, and so far my experiences with customer service have been excellent.
