I think I will go with the Chili McGregors and Oxblood Strands. On the horizon I need some commando sole boots for winter I traded my IRS with them for 403 Indy boots, haha. I am becoming a barn weasel. Walnut or Dark Chocolate Daltons would be fun to get as well.
I got real excited for a minute when you said suede loafers since AE currently is pretty limited with loafers in suede (only Cavanaugh and sea island). I then saw the pictures frown.gif

@rc121chalk that up to me being tired! Sorry about that. I would also love suede loafers but I am not the biggest fan of the Cavanaugh or Sea Island.

Just when I thought I was done with the Tent Sale, I see a pair of burgundy shell Daltons in my size. :-/

Sorry to hear this, man.   It's an interesting time in the world right now.

On the positive side, maybe I'll consider a pair of Loakes.

Be sure to check the exchange rate before you order. Most e-commerce sites don't update the exchange rate in real time, so you may have to wait a day to take advantage. I just checked the Pediwear website, and you'd still be paying $1.48 for £1.00 of shoes even though the pound is down to $1.37 right now.

I'm not sure what last they are on (using the "last number of the four digit number inside" theory they would be a '7' but in comparison to any of my MacNeil's I call shenanigans on that).  Anyway, they were a complete anomaly so I had to have them.

Anyone see these before?

I am not sure what type of leather this is, but the texture of it looks like the leather cap toe used on my linen and leather Baton Rogue. If it is, be very careful before attempting to clean the shoe. The conditioner cleaner will instantly soak in and darken the leather

First time poster...long timer lurker...First little background...In past i was restricted myself to square toe leather shoes from Clarks..somewhere down the line something changed and read more about leather ,chanced on styleforum  and saw the respect for Allen Edmond as one of best shoes without breaking my wallet..Regular price was over what i would consider little over my league for spending on shoes..Still thanks to huge number of threads n posts...came across Shoebank and got hold of my first AE in Varno black..slowly churned another Varno Chilli and then finally today a Gobi Tan as my first boot or a chukka. Never had a boot in life. 8D in 511 lasts fits perfect for me and was skeptical to get Gobi in 7.5D ,but gave it a shot after reading they run larger..and yes it bit larger in length say by .5 inch but by width its perfect for me.

For all experts out there and limited access to a actual AE store for me to try shoes...which lasts is probably closest to 511..I love that they are narrow by fit and not long/elongated .I am short 5.5/115lb guy and so longer and narrow shoes doesn't good on me,well thats i think ..:) hence prefer 511.Eyeing a oxblood or tan to my collections..Any suggestions...and of course keep  up the great work all poster..

Welcome -- You and I are both the same size in the 511.   Shoebank still has some black Leeds 1.0's that should fit you.  You might also try the Wilbert if you like the design, but you might need to go up 1/2 size, as it sometimes runs narrow.  The Leeds 2.0's are great too, but they fit slightly more snug in the toe area.

Every time I see a pic of burgundy shell MacNeils, I think I have to order a pair.  (If only there were a 10.5 B pair on SB right now, haha.)  Maybe with the next 15% off sale...

I don't think those are Macs. Or, at least I recall thinking that the last couple times these were posted.

Throwing these up one last time if anyone's interested. They will go up on eBay tomorrow so I can start saving for a pair of brown shell. Worn once.
