LOL. I told you to be careful. Meanwhile, I await the arrival of Alden's version of the Fifth Ave in black shell. "Do as I say, don't do as I do."

Yes.  I don't get to wear all the pairs I have.  I know I don't NEED all these shoes, but I can't help myself.

Is there a AE Anonymous?

There's always another shoe you could fall in love with.  I've bought 7 in the last 12 months.  My wife thinks I've gone bonkers.  She still doesn't know about the Lasalle's I keep under my work desk.  :embar:

But I'm taking a real break (as in a few months), unless they release a blue shoe I like.

We all can be founding fathers of it :)

I see it is time to re-post my post entitled, "Are you a Shoe-holic?" I know its a duplication, but if I can only help one lost "sole" it will be worth it.

I know more than one of us have admitted to hiding shoes at work to keep the wife in the dark or having new shoes delivered to some address other than our home. Others of us have braved the situation only to be confronted by accusations of being a shoe-holic. But perhaps some of us do have a problem in this area. To that end, I completed this handy "10 warning signs of having a shoe problem" to see where I personally stand against such accusations.

Lying About or Hiding Your New Shoes - Yep! Pretty common in my life.

Buying new shoes to Relax or Feel Better - Guilty.

“Blacking Out” Regularly - Yes, this occurs. Have you ever purchased a pair of shoes only to later realize you already owned this style and returned it for a refund? Yeah, me too.

Being Unable to Stop Once You Start - Does over 20 pairs in one year count as being unable to stop?

Wearing nice shoes in Dangerous Situations - Suede on a rainy day. What was I thinking?

Neglecting Your Responsibilities - Well, yes, according to my wife.

Having Trouble in Your Relationships - See above.

Being Able to Buy More Shoes Than You Used To - Hell yeah, just watch me go.

Experiencing Withdrawal from Your Shoes - I have avoided this by buying a larger suitcase.

Trying to Quit Buying Shoes but Being Unable to - I don't know. I haven't tried to quit.

Looks like everything is A OK in my world. How about you?

Maybe we can add the following:

Intercepting the FedEx/UPS delivery guy so your wife won't know you just received ANOTHER shoe delivery - "I plead Guilty your Honor"

So for those of you that are ordering the "Midnight blue" limited edition versions. Which have you chosen and how do to plan to pair them up when wearing them. I've started to hit the place order several times as I have been waiting for something like this but I'm trying to determine how often I'll actually be able to wear them.

Why not just have them deliver to work?  I do this.

I did the strand, I plan to wear them with a wide array of stuff. Once in hand or feet rather I will decide what would be best however I would imagine most chinos and gray, tan or brown dress pants.

Thanks, all.  I wish they would bring these back.  If only, so I can MTO them in shell :nodding:  We can always beg Paul G to bring them back.

You can always try the bay or Nords Rack.

Do you wear them, and if so, what do you wear them with?. I'm intrigued.

They will be back in the fall per Allen Edmonds. Black/Black Black/Oxblood and Walnut/Brown Burnished color options. I plan to get a pair of the 2 tone. Can't decide between the 2 options.
