What color Park Avenues would work best with both a navy and medium-gray suit?

Depends on your own style, really.  I own both of those shoes.  I would get the bourbon at that price.  Last year I bought the walnut for ~$270 from Nordstrom during their anniversary sale.  I also think you could find it cheaper during the Rediscover America sale.

Black or dark brown/bourbon for me.

CUSTOM COLOR NEUMOK SHOES are back, but with even more limited options and, bizarrely, now they are phone order only.

No.

What was wrong with the old system where you could play around with different colour options on the website?

I know this is the appreciation thread but I'm glad to see others found the price changes a little sneaky too. The standard on shoebank was 20% - but they changed a lot of stuff to $10 higher than that - 127 is now 137 and so forth. I realize they're trying to recoup shipping costs but they do enough of this bs and they risk losing customers. Anyone notice the patriot actually went up? Must be due to the rising cost of leather, glad to know my existing shoe collection is now worth a little more 😉

@middlepP No, I'll tell you what's larceny. They had a lone pair of Kirkwood dark brown 1sts at Newbury st for 117 that I tried to buy (my size). The SA said they were on hold and I should check back. Guess when they were finally sold? Guy came to pick them up the day they changed to $87. I was livid but at least I got the green.

Hello, friends...I posted this question on the shoe care thread and got nary a response, so I thought I'd try here. I have a pair of tan leather Lake Shore Drives, and as I wear a hem, the color darkens and parts of the shoe gets shiny. Is there anything I could do to restore the shoes to the original color? The AE website specifically advises against creams, lotions, or polishes, and say that o only use the spray suede waterproofer on the shoes for protection. No mention is made of the color issue. I'd appreciate any advice, even if the advice is to learn to live with the changed color and looks of the shoe.

those are rough finish leather that is meant to age and develop its own "character" like that. They cannot be polished, cannot be cleaned, and should not be expected to stay looking as they were new. Think of them as a pair of you favorite jeans or khakis that actually look better and feel better when they are well worn- that is the intent of those leathers on the

Addison, Strandmok, Sauk Drive, etc.

Black works and is safest.
Dark brown is better yet still conservative
Burgundy/merlot/oxblood is my favorite.

I wish I were a fan of sports, favoring one team, but not quite the case.  I dig some of the colors, but not the combinations.  If only they brought back the olive and more subtle mixes.

A touch of formality today, pairing chili Carlyles with light trousers and a coat.
