You absolutely sure? Usually there is size difference (might be in width and not length). My feet aren't exactly the same width and thus crease shoes differently.

It's Haiku Wednesday!

Exotic texture

in a sea of smooth skins shoes.

Not bark, they're black shark.

Most folks have slight variations in their foot size between sides, as well as differences in how each foot/leg strides while walking. Also distribution of weight while standing can make a difference. I wouldn't worry too much. My creasing patterns are quite radically different:

Sadly I cannot contribute pictures today, (Wolverine Wednesday), however why doesn't AE have a current Chelsea boot?  (confession, I'm hooked on boots, shoes, and now dabbling in cologne.  It's very good I'm single.)

According to Paul G, they finally have a true Chelsea coming this fall.

My local SA told me there was a new Chelsea coming out for the fall. He mentioned a new machine or tool that allowed the boot to have a much smoother shape and better arch fit. (In my mind I thought, so... the 201? Heard this before.)

Their boot game is terrible.  They have more wingtip bluchers than models of boots (last I counted there were only 6 models currently)

Couple questions for you: Why would you buy a black chukka? Why would you buy black shell? Why would you buy black shell chukkas? And why would you post pictures of your black shell chukkas?

This combo has never ever popped up on my radar... until. just. this. second. Seriously, these look great @peppercorn78!!!

If you're like me, your left foot bends when you squat down?

I have started going down to a knee when I need to "go low" so I don't crease my shoes. I have two little kids so I am at their level almost every day at some point.

I'll give it to you Peppercorn, you always know how to make us feel bad about posting mere mortal shoes here.

Shell? What's shell...(I won't buy shell, I won't buy shell, I won't...)

A tip for anyone needing trees. Keep a browser tab on jos a bank tree page and hit refresh every day. You just need to wait for the right deal. Monday was 25% off, Tuesday was 25% off and buy 1 get 1 (I bit on that one). I know they also run 70% off sometimes.

I'm not a shell-head like many of the people here are, but even I will admit that, once you get a pair of shell, you will definitely feel like you're in a different league from most other shoe buyers..again, I'm a calf man myself, but I can respect the quality of AE shell models.

Speaking of shell...

Selling a pair of burgundy shell Cornwallis in size 10.5 D - figured I'd post them here before I list them on the BS

PM if interested!

Edit: Also open to trades

Edit #2: my brannock size is ever so slightly longer than 10.5 D, perhaps a 10.75 D, and these annoyingly (though not painfully) pinch my right pinkey toe. May fit both 10Ds and true 10.5Ds.

Ha! Thanks, but I'm really a piker compared to many here like Polojock, MDubs, ColdIron, etc. I only have 9 pairs of shell. I love them, but not any more than, say my Vass suede or Lobb museum calf. A different animal (no pun intended) and feeling altogether. My favorite AEs are actually the chili calf shaker heights boots.
