How much did you get them for? Did you pay the advertised price or haggle? Thx

Did a "best offer" for around $82, IIRC. Good seller. I'm leaving some positive feedback.

His really good stuff doesn't last long.

One interesting thing I've noticed is that he has at least 3 pair of Hopkinson's that have tears on the back of the heel. I'm not sure if this is some kind of problem that the the Hopkinson has a tendency towards.

I was recently outbid at the last second on pair of new black Lasalle's. They ended up going for $62. Great deal for someone. I always lose the auctions somehow.

I purchased Jefferson 2.0 in merlot and Delray in black from this seller for under $65 each. The shoes were in excellent condition.

Great price!

I saw that he was selling the exact pair of Park Aves that I returned to Shoebank. I had wore them around the office for a couple days and returned because they were too big. Even though they were only worn indoors the bottoms got a bit scratched and there was also a bit of creasing.

I'm a bit curious as to how this seller plays into the business. I'm guessing if AE has a pair that is a bit too far gone and they think they will have trouble selling it as seconds they go through that seller.

As someone who is still struggling with lasts and fit issues, let me ask you guys something. The first pair of Allen Edmonds I bought were Cliftons in 14D. They gave me blisters in my small toes, so I had them stretched, and since they've been fine -- not as comfortable as my wide pairs, but perfectly fine. But it seems as if the Clintons are on a narrow last. Do you think a Bradley in 14D would work? How does the difference in those lasts compare to the difference between a 14D and a 14E within the same last?

Hello everyone.
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I have a pair of Allen Edmonds penny loafers in gray cloud color.
Does AE carry belts in the same finish? I looked around for a while and cant find anything.

@BespokeBrooklyn Of course ymmv, but from personal experience, the shape of the 108 is much more tapered in the toe than the 511. The 511 is fairly full - I definitely think its worth trying the D in the 511, given that the Clifton, once stretched out, was ok. Going to an E might fix the width but introduce more issues and make the fit even worse. I've tried E widths in the store in the past. Same reaction every time. I put them on, they initially feel ok, I think this isn't bad. Then I sort of walk around a little and my legs bother me, like I'm dragging around the weight of the shoe, almost like I'm carrying them around instead of them carrying me. Plus heel slip and gaping may result. Long story short, some lasts are just more full in the toe and may be worth a shot.

I haven't seen anyone post a picture of their Newbergs. Ever.
I was drawn to this one for some reason that I can't explain. It looks like AE is already discontinuing this shoe though.

And today, in honor of the new sales woman who insisted on trying on the Veronas for me to ask if she could pass them off as women's Gucci loafers (you can't make this **** up), Lucca today:

I've bought 8-10 items from Dabondo. Very much appreciate his role, which yes, is likely to sell off items too rough for the shoebank.

He will usually accept an offer at or near half his asking price.

Excellent seller!!

I dig the leather and the crepe sole, but the color choices were uninspiring. Same leather as the new Maritimes but I liked those colors more. Especially the "chocolate" outrigger, which looked almost grey. It was like they were going for something along the lines of mushroom and tobacco suede for the two colors, but wanted to keep it muted. Summer colors should either be bright or saturated, not dull and diluted. That said, the tan ones are pretty baller and I might pick up a pair on clearance.*
