Thanks, this is helpful. I'm with you in that 50% of the original price definitely triggers a shoe bank buy, but at only a $50 discount I'm hesitating. I called, and they said the particular shoe I'm looking at looks great except for creasing on one shoe from try-ons. Might be worth a shot, although perhaps I should go with something like another Strand at a $100+ discount instead.
I forgot to mention that you can call the store and ask how it looks so good call on your part.
Creasing non issue if you like the shoe and it saves you $50 maybe worth a shot.
