Ah, interesting.  Thanks!   They look like they fit you really well.    I don't know why I thought they were Canadian.

Edit:  I figured out why I thought they were Canadian.  There is another shoe call the Bloor Street, which I think is made for Canada.   Boardroom, Bloor Street -- they all sound and look similar.

I would love to order navy shell tassel loafers (Grayson or Acheson), but I don't want to drop $600+ on shoes right now. On the HM's, I'd be interested to hear the story about why they dropped the price to $250 right after releasing it. I'm not complaining about being a beneficiary of that sale, I'm just curious.

I'll honestly probably sit out this RDA.

Great socks! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

BTW Ibelieve the Bloor St is on the 201.

I guess the RDA Sale started a day early. Prices now in the AE website show every shoe on sale. Sadly, nothing really catches my attention except the Strandmok.

I wish these weren't "before my time." I wonder if the last would have suited my feet better than the 65. Very nice looking!

FINALLY got my sale catalog today. It's weird because I'm super close to Wisconsin. But, whatever.

Not sure if it's that I just like shoes too much or that I'm realizing that I need to branch out a bit from wingtips, but I'm really starting to come around to the Delray. Adding it to the someday list.

Since I tried them on last week, I am also falling for the Strandmok. I like the tan color, but I'd probably like it more if it wasn't for the black welt. Also, they look pretty foxy in olive and navy.

If the Dundee 2.0 was in the $245 zone, I'd have a nearly impossible time resisting.

If I had money to burn, I'd grab one of those shearling coats. The look great. And I must say the "Salt & Pepper Top Coat" is right up my alley, too.

This is darned near blasphemy around here, but I can't say I could picture myself wearing any shoes in green or red... shell or otherwise. Perhaps I'm just a bit too conservative for that. More power to you all, though. I'll be more than happy to check out your pictures once they start being posted.

If I had the scratch, I'd probably go for the Mora 2.0 in brown shell to somewhat make up for the recently deceased Norwich. Or, as mentioned previously, a brown shell Dundee 2.0 or Leeds 2.0 would suit me just fine.

I was gonna say the prices are live on the main page but not shoe bank but Newberry already posted. Oh well, at least I beat ace 😁

@St Hubbins I'm about the most conservative person around and I wear both the neumok 1.0 in red & rush street in olive - neither of them are nearly as loud as you think. Definitely don't get hung up - some good color options out there.

As a sidebar, what's with the shell Norwich talk? Do any of you guys have the calf version? I can't possibly picture this working for most people - t
as much as I love em (they work like a dream for a high instep) they are pretty narrow and started out incredibly stiff. First wear they bruised 9 out of 10 of my toes badly - that took forever to go away.

The trunk show is just a name for a nationwide sale on special shell options.  Once it is live, you can order from any store, there will be perks for going to the B&M but you can call in, and or call AE directly to order.

If you visit here occasionally, you would be unable to miss it once announced.

I'm guessing ruby red is #4 and not #2 but that is literally a guess

Carmina calls Color 2 "Ruby". Color 4 isn't very red, whereas Color 2 is pretty much straight red. Here are my Ruby/Color 2 Carminas:

If I had to take an educated guess, I don't think Color 2 will be on the table for the trunk show - it is a very niche color, more so than Green. My money is on Navy, Green, and Bourbon (or Natural). Horween has been cranking out Bourbon shells lately, and it's a nice color with more depth than Natural and a shade darker than most Whiskey is.

Beauties! I have a #4 wallet that in less than a year has gotten a lot darker. I wonder how RED #2 stays over the long term
