I would try Lexol (others would say Bick 4, but I've used Lexol).  It can't hurt, (and after a good brushing) the worst that will happen is your shoes will have a great luster.

Thanks guys. Finally got around to trying this. Used mink oil as recommended by AE and it seemed to help but strangely enough, the squeaking seemed to move. This was the first time wearing them and it was the rare day where I wasn't scrambling to make the bus. Took the extra time to apply mink oil to the entire inside of both shoes and I am happy to say that my shoes are noise-free for the first time in quite a while. Again, thanks for the input.

Not the best shot, but here's a pic....

Dollars to doughnuts they won't do it. I'll bet they wouldn't want to risk losing such a large piece of shell to a wholecut design. But if they will...

More picks of the Liverpool in chocolate suede. High MSRP but insanely comfortable and gorgeous last.

Would I be able to order one from the Chicago store's shell event even though I live out of state??  I'm itching to order First Avenue boots in shell cordovan.

I wish I had joined this thread back in the glory days of the MTO program.  I was too late and only got in on the GMTO Strands and the GMTO Badlands.

Bourbon Fifth Aves for Wednesday. I think I get partial credit for Walnut Wednesday. I love these babies. They feel like slippers now. It looks like I have one longer leg, but it must just be how I take the pictures.

I work from home, but still want to participate in Walnut Wednesday

I also have a question about Strands. They're still new, but when I was brushing them before today's pic, I saw this.

Is this just a typical welt joining? Or is it cracked? Worth doing anything about, or should I just put some edge dressing on it?

That's typical. Nothing to worry about.
