Definitely more dusty-brown with a green tone for the Shannon drive - less green than the Strandmok.  If I ever crack the code on Strand fitment (and I think the reverse welt of the -mok version might do the trick, but don't have a store close to try), I'll get some in Olive.  I'd REALLY love to have a Neumok 1.0 in olive, but I missed that one :(        (I asked an SA in the SF store to check the warehouse, and there were a very few pairs in middle sizes for anyone thinking about it.  Think the biggest size was 10.5)

I brush all of my shoes pretty vigorously after wearing and bag them, then brush for a few seconds before wearing.  That keeps them going for a long time.  I did use a tiny amount of Saphir Renovateur on my Shannon Drives.  They darkened up (which looked kinda cool) but eventually went back to the matte look.  The AE Shoe Care Reference I have is too old to have the Strandmok on it, but for the colored-leather Neumoks it recommends leather lotion for conditioning and saddle soap (which I don't use - just Lexol cleaner) for cleaning - no shoe cream or shoe wax is recommended.

Picked up a pair of Jefferson 1.0 in walnut from our ebayer. Little more wear than I would like but for a shoe that isn't coming back it was hard to pass up. Thatll make 3 indy line shoes for me and I can't say enough good things about the 2 I have. The Jefferson 2.0 isn't really on the radar since I have merlot mcallisters already. Maybe a bartlett when my current walnut strands bite the dust. Still have a lot of wears left in them and who knows what indy lines will exist when that happens....

PSA: Some size 8.5 D blue Rush Streets on the bay along with Walnut Grain PA, Brown Rush Streets (can't tell if its the CXL), bourbon hanovers, Gray McTavish and some Clark Nattys all in new condition. Jealous of whoever can fit/win those especially the Rush Streets....

I've noticed the Jingle Bell Mok is back on the AE site, and I'd really like to grab an 11.5 E instead of the 11.5 D's I picked up a couple months ago thinking they'd never be back.  It will be a couple of weeks before I can ship them unless someone wants to grab them today or tomorrow (heading to Japan on Sunday).  I paid $147 plus shipping, and would like to be pretty close to that (they fit pretty decently, so I don't feel the need to lose a lot of money on them).  I'll thrown in the bags and shipping.

Where you headed?  Beautiful day in Charlotte, we just had the rain pass through last night, which we direly needed.

I found the old AE page and it says just use leather lotion.

I have a pair of Freiburgs in tan the leather is similar and for those they also recommend just leather lotion. Now I can tell you that once I used the leather lotion it did darken the look.

Yeah - I like 'em.  I got them in my McTavish since and while I think they'd be comfortable enough, especially broken in, the 11.5 E is really my size for these.  If they don't sell I'll be fine keeping and wearing them.

Another day, another pair of CXL? Second wear for these natty HMs.

First wear for the natty Humbolt. For others that have this belt, is the color consistent? Or does it also have the stripped contrast throughout?
