McAllister in Merlot

5th Avenue in Merlot

Lexington in Walnut

Rogue in Walnut

Rush Street in Golden Brown Chromexcel

Mctavish in Khaki

Mctavish Dark Brown

Lexington in Bourbon

5th Avenue in Bourbon

I think I'd go for the McAllister in merlot and the Rush Street in CXL.

I have previously seen shoes at BCF that are different. Look inside at the size and style number. These will likely be the same but the other production numbers may be different showing they were made in different runs to account for the differences.

Was your issue that the Bitter Chocolate is too dark? As I already have the Fullertons in Snuff Suede, my first inclination would be Bitter Chocolate. However, I've only seen the online pictures and not in person.

No real issue, they just didn't blow me away like I thought they would.

I'd go with the McAllister in merlot, and the Rogue in chili!

Enablers. Definitely enablers. I would not have as many pairs of shoes were it not for this gang of a-holes constantly showing off their shoes.

I also don't mind the dark brown laces on the brown HMs, but I also find the tan laces more appealing.  They really should carry them in the stores.  Why is AE refusing to TAKE our money when we're so willing to give it to them.

i am typically a fan of the tan laces also...looks really good.

I'm proud that I haven't bought a new shoe in 1 month and 1 day.   :bigstar:

That might change though if the navy Park Aves drop to a good price.

Is the left one (left most in picture) also wider than the other?

+1 on the chili Rogue. They are being closed out and are a bargain. I bought a pair from the bank when they were in my size and I have really liked them. No comments on the Merlot options.

We are NOT enablers. Think of us as counsellors who simply provide insight on various shoe possibilities.

Speaking of Rogues on the 201 last, I notices that the Strandmock 2.0 was also built on the 201. I tried the Hopkinson and its balmoral design did not work for me like the blucher does. Does anyone have any fit experience with the Strandmock in suede? Suede seems a bit looser to me and might be more forgiving. Hard not to send for a pair when they are $127. Come on "counsellors", expand my insight on shoe possibilities.

Yeah, but what about used?

You'll probably not see me ever buy a used shoe, unless it comes from Dabondo's "worn one time!!" shoes.

Loved the comment about us being counsellors.

Congrats. You now qualify for a 30 day abstention chip! AE will give you 15% off your next purchase if you mail it to them.

I'm with you on the used shoes. I mean sure I love shoes, but I also love stuff that's brand spanking new. Hell, I don't even like buying used cars.
