I found a picture of them from back in February!

My point was that I don't consider the 511, particularly on the Dalton, to be bulbous. Not everyones feet can properly accommodate closed lacing or hourglass lasts. I would much rather wear a shoe that properly fits AND is decently presentable to the attire if not perfectly matched; there's a lot of room between bankers and ditch-diggers.
I wouldn't expect a banker or lawyer to show up in Daltons, Wilberts, Bradleys etc., though walk into a local bank branch and its unlikely to be black PA's and Carlyles as far as the eye can see. You'll be lucky if you spot a walnut Strands at the bottom of a Tommy Hilfiger suit.
I'm offloading some boots/shoes that don't fit me very well and therefore aren't getting as much love these days.
Just in time for boot season!

Good Monday forum pals. Flying home from Utah yesterday after a wedding weekend and rainy weather. A little leather lotion and these casual Mapletons will be as good as new. Plus, I found a dime on the floor, so I got that working for me. Today? Vintage Florsheim wingtips. Nothing to appreciate here, move along.
