On West Gray? If so, we may end up running into each other at some point lol.

Last year there was 0% on shell in the RDA sale.

Our favorite ebay seller now has a pair of new bourbon Strands in 8 D.  These would fit me, but the V would most likely be too wide.  If any of you guys wear 8 D in the 65 last, you might want to consider these.  No color problems with this pair.

yup.  All I know is what I'm told... which was that shell was to be a part of RDA 2016.

Still... only turns back the clock a few years on the shell price, when you think of it.

Non shoe related question. (I feel like I'm that guy that always brings up non shoe stuff) anyway...bed sheets. I've upgraded my shoes, clothing, time for bed sheets. After reviewing quite a bit, I'm leaning towards Brooklinen or Cariloha. Anyone here have any experience in either? Open to other suggestions as well

I work for a hotel company, and don't worry about the sheet brand. Focus instead on the thread count. Higher thread count will always lure the women. Only problem is, it's not exactly something you bring up when you're trying to get them in there.

Buy quality (percale) weave, from a European manufacturer (Italy/France). Really the key words you want is Italian, percale, egypian(Type of fiber not origin). Thread count is probably 4th most important. Think of it like the carat of the 4Cs of diamonds. Cut is king. And weave is king.

Oddly enough, I pretty much did the reverse order.

Oddly enough, it was for this reason.  Went to a sausage fest of a university - unwashed engineers in their PJs as far as the eye can see.

Evolve, differentiate, or spend countless nights playing WoW.  Maybe I didn't evolve, but I certainly differentiated.

Worked out - years later my mrs, then g/f, mentioned something offhanded about the quality of my sheets back-in-the-day.  Gave my X years younger self a fist bump.

Happy hunting.

Not sure if I captured it well enough in this photo, but would a light spot & indentation like this be noticeable after the leather breaks in? I'm kind of leaning on returning right now. My wife, who acts as my sanity check in my shoe OCD, noticed this from half way across the living room without my asking.

Maybe try some conditioner cleaner on those to see if it helps clear the scratch.

Unrelated, but has anyone ordered Allen Edmonds from Lord and Taylor?  I thought the site was a Chinese scam, but it turns out it is a real company in NY.  Read lots of really negative feedback on them shipping the wrong items.

Lord and Taylor is a somewhat upscale department store chain.  I'd say they're around the same level as Nordstrom, not quite Neiman Marcus or Saks. I haven't shopped there in ages, so maybe they're more like Macy's now.  They are definitely legit.  They may be limited to the east coast so you may not have heard of them because of your region.

Then another room dedicated to fly fishing paraphernalia, one full of photography equipment and computers, one full of books and yet another full of musical instruments that I couldn't play. Too many fascinating things out there to just ignore.

In case you hit the PowerBall and your baller dreams come true.

But at ~$4500 per, and needing three of them, that's approximately 20 pair of shell (or five EG shell Galways!) for super fancy shoe racks. So yeah, definitely not until I have more money than I can figure out how to spend.

I'm sure you could work out a discount if you order a dozen plus a few custom built units for your boots.

@Lobster33 L&T has been around forever - there's one 10 min away from where I work. It's roughly on par with Macy's - very few B&M stores actually carry the AEs, so maybe that's why the orders go bad (just guessing).

Hey if I wanted like a halfway decent laptop, is this store "frys" legit or is it really a scam? I'm just giving you a hard time 😁

I grabbed these from Bed Bath and Beyond because they look nice and don't the bank. After a few washes they are becoming quite soft.
