Should be getting my merlot McAllisters today, hopefully they work better than the Concord Aves from Monday...

Just finished a crushing day at the office that required something harder than walnut myself. Bourbon Wednesday for me!

My point was the sole stitching is minor enough that my eyes went right by it.

Oh yeah, the fellow traveler mentioned that he was on some online forums where they talk about AEs, so the real question is, which one of you barn weasels was it? crackup%5B1%5D.gif

It would be funny if your former intern reads your post and texts to let you know that he knows that you also frequent this forum smile.gif

P.S. I do t have walnut Strands.

Rainy in the Big Apple today. Went with the brown Aberdeens. One of my most comfortable and favorite pairs.

Haha, awesome story.  It wasn't me, but I could totally see myself doing this if someone complimented a pair of my shoes and seemed interested in AE.

Too funny.

Oh, he already knows I frequent here :), along with many other forums (oddly enough I learned about this one and AE from a police/military forum).

Running them straight out...

Natty Higgins Mills arrived yesterday.

I'm a big fan of the contrast from the light laces against the natural color leather. I like the suede tongue as well as the look and feel of the CXL. They are pretty comfortable right out of the box. The shape is a bit on the blobby side for my taste but overall I do like them.

Got here just in time. The McAllister in merlot! Now I just hope the Manistee belt in merlot gets here before Saturday...

The first tan suede version of the Strandmok (Strandmok 0.0?) came with both tan and olive laces.  Wearing my pair today with the olive laces, olive argyle socks, and olive trousers.....

Anyone remember when the jingle bell mok went for last year? Seems to me seconds don't make sense to purchase if the 1st were $200 but I'm not sure. I guess if I buy them from the shoebank they take returns any time as long as not worn right?

Which one of you FBWs snagged the cordovan belt off the Shoe Bank?  Stupid meeting this morning; I tried calling last night but the web site lies about the CAC's opening hours.
