Thanks!

Afternoon Lobster wears black Carlyles to finish the serious part of the week.  Yes, these have profila binding, but they fit perfect.

Beauties! What size do you wear for those in comparison to shoes on the 5 last?

Thanks!  I'm 7.5 E in the 65 (Park Ave, Strand), but these are 8 D.  I wear 8 D in 90% of my shoes.  These fit the best of the 3 Carlyles I own.

I was lucky enough to find a pair of Rutledges in walnut that fit me from the shoebank. Absolutely worth $300 if its new. Do not hesitate for a second.

You!

Ive been kicking myself for days for not getting the Mcallister merlot wingtips at the clearance sale. Didn't know about the shoebank until i read this post. I should be posting a picture of those beautiful shoes next week as they are on their way.

Thank you good sir!

Sure! I have a pair myself and they are probably my 2nd favorite behind my shell strands.

I agree 100% with this statement.

@orange fury Veronas look great - best loafer by far (excluding the Lucca of course 😉).

Don't know who asked, but no B - only D or EEE. And no 6.5 😞

I keep trying to tell myself that I'm going to be good after getting the Rutledge and Hopkinson but who am I kidding? I know there will always be something else to add to the list. And the colors...oh so many different choices.

Just wait until you discover shell!

In the past year these have been my wait times (order to my door step):

-Shell Bartlett 4wks

-Shell Strand 3wks

-Shell Dalton 7wks

-Shell Dalton (remake) 6wks

So 6 weeks sounds about right to get to your door. When I ordered my Cornwallises two weeks ago they told me 8 weeks.

A pair of dark chili MacGregors just popped up on the ShoeBank in my size. Given how long ago they were discontinued, is it a safe assumption that the pair has a significant flaw?

Unrelated, but, man, it is a good thing that I wear an unusual size. I just skimmed the ShoeBank to see what pairs were available in my father's (far more common) size, and there was probably three times the selection. My wallet is thankful that my feet are so unusual.
