Throw back to the Ervell thread where they didn't make any bombers in XL

Yeah but at least OAMC produces bigger sizes, they just don't get picked up by many places. Union usually carries XL and some XXL's in most pieces though, probably because Chris Gibbs himself is a bigger dude.

Does anybody have a Savvanah jacket and care to comment? Should I size up?

Nice, LN-CC too so no taxes on my doorstep

...now lets just hope it goes into the sales :laugh:

Haven't paid any attention to this brand before, but these pieces at LN-CC caught my attention.

The brands own styling is a bit too much and aggressive for me. But those above strikes me as quite refined with just enough hint of military references.

Big fan of this brand, but the local shop rarely brings in any XL.... stuck ordering online. Picked up the Flight Mock Neck and thinking about the cropped patch pants.

Who's picking up the flight suit? Found at http://store-public.com/?pid=105789410

Nice piece but $3k CDN

Sooo nice. Probably too long on me but those Riri zips look pretty handy for some cliff bars.

Yeah if I can find the flight suit for cheap I'll def buy it. I had a feeling it would be crazy expensive.

I know this is a late reply, but I picked up the Savannah Jacket recently (Revive had 2 good a price on it.) Its a tighter fitting jacket (I got size L). I envision wearing it as a layering piece - treat it as sort of a cardigan or something.

@AMA22
So if you can would you say to size up?
post #73 of 235

@OccultaVexillum  depends on how you want to wear it. If you want to wear it as a layered/sweater piece and want to wear a jacket on top of it, I'd say get your regular OAMC size. If you want to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under the jacket, size up. Its definitely slim fitting. I am a size L in OAMC, and I'm happy I got the L because I wanted to wear it like a cardigan and have it under a jacket. But if you want to wear it as a traditional jacket, size up for sure.

I would only wear it over a tee, maybe under a longer coat and generally unzipped.
Which colour did you get?

Id reccomend not sizing down then. I got the navy, I have too many of the all black OAMC jackets, and I liked the contrast of the navy with the silver hardware.
