This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

That is a very interesting coat, but will he like it? I'm am not sure if you are mocking him or not.
I think he would like it and I certainly hope LKs not being mocked!
A silk smoking coat like this one would certainly fit in the wardrobe of a dandy.
It's hard to tell the condition of this one from the pictures though. Since it's not a very good Ebay ad and the pictures are not good, the final sale price might be a bargain(depending on the reserve price).
There are Sulka silk smoking robes that come up periodically on Ebay. Particularly by the seller strada11. They go for relatively high prices though. Generally $750-$1250.
I have no idea if a Sulka or Dior silk smoking robe would be higher quality. Perhaps LabelKing might have an idea.

This almost looks like some sort of velvet given the texture in the rather dismal photos. However, I think this pattern would be much better suited for a curtain or some sort of decorative function. Contrary to some of my Wearing posts, most of my clothing tends to have clean lines as I tend to like strict military-like items; they go nice with a beret. That leather coat is rather nice too.

And now I've seen it all, $635 tortoise shell cufflinks. Are they really that valuable? I have to admit, I am strangely attracted to them.

You should see the prices of tortoise-shell frames.
This should be Give LabelKing a Gift Thread. Every single one of these items should be included in a Secret Santa sort of arrangement.

This is lovely - of course this sort of vintage stuff never comes in the 40L with 27.5 length sleeves that I need - in fact most things don't.

Because of requirements that tortoiseshell used be from stocks existing pre-ban, tortoiseshell is rare and quite staggeringly expensive. Tortoiseshell glasses frames can cost upwards of $10,000 for instance.
EDIT: The links sold for $1,000.

Of course, it's always been a luxury material.
