Yes, Sony does not make DLP's (did you notice where I asked the brand as I could not make it out on my work monitor?), their engine is sXRD or whatever which is basically the same thing.

I think for Xmas I am going to get you a nice industrial size tub of shaving cream.

Or LCD, but that's not here nor there. You started the hate first; I was merely apprising you of the incorrectness of your hate.

Jon.

Yes Jon, but he did say rear projection so it could not be LCD and the correct saying is "that is neither here nor there".

Nice screen, comfy looking seating area. Enjoy it in good health.

The scary thing is that I heard they're still attached when he flosses.

And yet funny enough, I have a rear projection Sony LCD TV...how do you explain that?

I write colloquially, perhaps I shall write in the manner of LK?

Jon.

If that room is the size that I think it is, the 50" (which is what he has) A3000 should be ample. As stated, a 2.0 would be nice - I've gotta admit, I expected more in the audio department as well given that you have Magnepans. A part of the HD experience, which I'm not taking advantage of either because I can't afford the rest of my setup currently, is the sound. If you're going to deem this a home theatre, you gotta do something about that.

The video quality is phenomenal on this thing isn't it? Do you have geometry issues, because I do; unfortunately, I had a friend buy it from Best Buy for me so I can't really complain. I'll be getting an ISF calibrator out in the next couple months, perhaps after I've bought the audio setup.

Congrats on the TV.

You know what I meant about the LCD. Anyway, I am done with this mating dance of yours.

I think everyone on the board has participated in at least one inane argument with Jon. I'm surprised it took you this long to get to your rite of passage.

Ha! If that's not the pot calling the kettle black.

Regarding this particular discourse there was nothing inane about what I said, the errors were on the part of Ed.

I can count all of the people I've argued with, truly, on this board on one hand, of which you are the middle finger.

But unlike you, I do not have to pull said middle finger out of my ass to look at it.
