Renault, many thanks for the info, but I'm afraid they are expired already.

Free shipping (exp Dec 28): WRE117H Hope that's good enough, I still haven't googled though.

Logan, was it just a coincidence or did you snap that RL Middlesex shoes size 11? : ) Anyways, I think that's rather too narrow for me.

Nope, I'm an 8 1/2 D (take note, future gift givers.)

FCS - thanks for the Sierra free shipping code. I ordered about 9 pairs of Patherella socks at $7.95 a piece, some inexpensive Italian shirts, and a pair of Hanro boxer-briefs at a whopping $24.95. Figured I'd give 'em a try since I was saving so much money on the Pantherellas. At least, that's the way I rationalized it to my wife.

My pleasure, Logan. Not much but I hope it contributes to your savings. Btw, STP is having further markdown on some of their on-sale items.

I finally got my order today from Sierra. I mispoke above -- I got ZIMMERLI briefs for $24.95. Pretty sweet deal, IMHO. 15765-03-S ZMRL M BRIEF WHT S $24.95 1 $24.95 The small is a little bit tight, but I'm pretty skinny so it works OK. I don't think they have anymore for sale though. :-( Once I realized I had bought Zimmerli for $24.95, I tried to go back to Sierra and order several more pair, but alas, they are gone.

My Ralph Lauren cap-toe bals arrived a couple of days ago - my first foray into the world of 'nice' dress shoes. So now I'm hooked on Sierra. Does anyone have any current discount codes?

Ah, so you also got one pair of those shoes. What's your impression of the quality, are they C&J (Whitehall) handgrade by any chance? I was asking STP some questions regarding the shoes but it took forever to got the answer, hence my size was snapped by someone else.
Yeah, they took a while to answer my questions on international orders - eventually I just faxed my details over. As I said, they're my first pair of high-quality shoes, so I don't really have anything with which to compare them. Really nice calfskin, though. I took a couple of photos, I'm sure the shoe cognoscenti can tell us if they're C&J or not... Linked for size... Linked for size... Linked for size... EDIT: I really like that word, 'cognoscenti'. I'm going to start throwing it willy-nilly into everyday conversation. I'm off to Subway, where I'm one of the sandwich cognoscenti...

Can you see the stitching on the sole, or is it hidden (channeled)?
Chanelled, I guess... Incidentally, Andrew, what kind of digital camera do you use for your eBay stuff? I have an old, old Kodak DC5000 and a funky lighting rig (which I never use, hence the glare).
