Lace up boots recommendation (since RRL can't get their act together)

Here are the boots I would like to buy:

http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=65636206&parentPage=family

(RRL livingston leather boot, brown)

However, it appears they just flip coins or something to determine what colors of these they will make, or if they will make them at all in a particular month/quarter/year.

I don't have time to chase these around.

So, who makes a boot comparable to this (or the RRL Bowery boot, etc.) that is actually in their line and available for purchase on a regular, predictable basis ? I would like a very well constructed, very formal, high end lace-up boot that I can wear with a flannel suit in the snow/slush.

Thanks.

A grand? Yikes. For a better quality booot at a better price consider Vass or Bonafe. Or for something just as good at considerably less money consider Carmina. C&J worth a look as well.

So something like:

http://www.crockettandjones.com/product/skye-3-chestnut

http://www.crockettandjones.com/product/coniston-tan

Or plenty of other options that will be better value (and probably cheaper) than the Ralph
