Ebay seller Parisvegas - just received my items - Page 6

Got the pocketsquares from Parisvegas. He sent me a duplicate of a blue with white squares instead of the blue with red. I wrote him but no response as of yet. I guess with so many hundreds of items, it is possible to misfile one pocketsquare. They are quite nice, however, and NWT and still in plastic RL Polo. If he doesn't exchange it, I'll just end up offering it here for what I've got in it.

I got my pocket square the other day as well....was impressed with the fast shipping. I was quite happy.

I got my four pocket squares today! Sent well-packed in a box, which is a nice touch. Very happy... nwt with original price tags, and I know it's a trite cliche, but they really do look better in person!

Kevin wrote back to me and said he would check inventory and fix the problem. But otherwise, as I said, I can always offer it here.

Got my NWT polo pocket square, which is as advertised. The Incotex pants have a small stain that should come out. All in all, an OK experience.

Now I'm really curious as to where he gets his stuff. I went thrifting whilst on vacation in Vegas. Hit almost every thrift around and it was pure garbage. Most of it was worse than the stuff in the thrifts around here. Worn out 70's poly Arrow shirts and beat up Rustler jeans. A bunch of moldy 70's poly suit-coats from JC Penny and the like. Ugh. I went around to some hotels like Wynn, MGM Grand and the ones we stayed at, the MGM Signature and Bellagio. All said they keep the items for 2 weeks, after that they are discarded. This pissed me off , but also got me more curious. I wanted to dumpster dive so bad, but damn... they have about 20 dumpsters all locked with monstrous padlocks. Maybe his wife is a maid for one of the hotels and either steals guest's belongings or swoops them up after they've been left behind? Only explanation I can think of....

I doubt his wife steals the stuff, and she would be one busy maid if she gathered up that much left behind stuff.

The fact that he is selling so much NWT stuff(I.E. the Coogi and Polo items), says that he has various sources.

He doesn't seem to know much about clothing quality but he's OK for what he is. I've noticed that recently he is pricing that which he believes is very desirable stuff, at much higher prices.

It doesn't make much sense, but last time that I looked he was pricing a Brioni orphaned suit coat at a $199 start price, and was still selling things like Oxxford sport coats at a $4.99 start price.

Parisvegas is a gentleman. I had issues with three items - basically holes! He's refunded the money, and doesn't want the crap back.

Kevin seems honest and just a volume dealer. The confusion over the duplicate pocket square is my first problem and I know that he will fix it one way or the other. And, if he does not, it will either make a great gift item or somebody here will gladly pay me $10 plus postage. The story about items left in hotels seems a little far fetched but it gives me one great idea for a screenplay.

Finally got around to look at what I bought 6 weeks ago - upon a cursory check everything seems to be in good, but not great (even for NWT stuff) condition. There are issues: a shirt missing buttons, a few items are of different sizes than listed; but considering what I paid, no big deal really. Overall, I'm a happy customer (a more fortunate case perhaps) and will buy things again from him again at the right prices.

Parisvegas must have recently changed his pricing system though - NWT items and most suits / jackets now have higher starting prices. Too bad, since this probably means I wouldn't be doing business with him as often.
