Ebay seller Parisvegas - just received my items

Just received the 15 items or so I bought from Parisvegas last week, during his huge sale. Every single item has a flaw, ranging from holes and rips, to missing/broken sportcoat buttons, to a 4x5" area of bleach spots on a pair of pants. These are all obvious damages, not something you only see after a thorough inspection. All these items were advertised as 'Excellent', 'Mint', or 'NWOT'. I spent hundreds of dollars on this stuff, and am very disappointed.

Anyone else get their items yet, and what was the condition like?

I just bought a half a dozen things from him. I knew he's got a bit of a reputation of being hit-or-miss, but this worries me. I haven't received any yet, but I'll report what I get....

Still waiting for mine from last Sunday.

I bought a sweater and blazer that shipped today - I'm going to be awfully disappointed if they aren't as advertised.

I didn't purchase anything recently, but that's because Parisvegas has been on my black list for quite some time now. I purchased a pair of Zanella pants (probably a couple of years ago now) that were advertised as "like-new condition". When I received them, they were covered in stains. I ended up simply throwing them away. Since then, I just ignore any of his auctions.

wow.. what a disappointment.. I always hear about the great deals and am upset that I didn't catch them, but that may be a godsend

I got an Oxxford coat. It's not as nice as I hoped, but you know the quality of parisvegas pictures.

The condition is OK. Really no flaws that I can see. It could be called excellent.

I didn't even need it, but it was $6! So, $14 total price with shipping. Totally an impulse buy that I'll never wear.

Back to your problem Vman. I once bought something from parisvegas and thought it hadn't been delivered. I emailed him and it took a while, but he responded and provided a USPS delivery confirmation #. It had been delivered to my neighbor and I did eventually get the item.

I think that if you Email him and send the stuff back in a timely manner, you will get a refund(probably minus shipping costs). He offers a 100% back refund policy. I would return the stuff with signature confirmation required, or something like that.

We've gone over it before, but parisvegas is an amazing operation. I guess he gets his inventory for free. And he refuses to take better pictures or even provide decent(and accurate)ad copy or even answer Email questions.

But of course his prices are great and people will always buy a bargain. Recently though he's changed things a little. He's gotten a bunch of NWT items that he doesn't sell with $4.95 start prices. And occasionally he gets very desirable items that he starts at $100.00 or even $200.00. Like some Kiton suits and coats recently. But he doesn't seem to know that first thing about clothes though. This last week he listed a Brioni Super 150s Suit coat(no pants), for $199.00! Yet, he's listed nicer Brionis with $4.95 start prices. I really think he doesn't have a clue.

Somehow, I don't consider parisvegas a complete "Throw sh*t on the wall thief", like prayerwarrior02, but it's obvious that you take a risk with him. I do believe that you will get your refund if you follow through.

BTW Vman: I noticed the Zegna 15milmil15 coats that you bid on, and won. I also bid, but at ridiculously low prices. Sorry that you won them, but happy that I didn't.

I kind of regret buying two more items from him last night. Had I received my shipment prior to today, there's no way I would have bid on the items from yesterday.

Start your refund request.

It might not be timely, but I'm betting that you get a 100% refund.

He might balk at refunding shipping costs, but he does combine shipping and his shipping prices are very reasonable(so at least, you should not be out a bunch on shipping that you paid for).

Also, come to think of it, I did buy a few items from him a couple of years ago. They all had problems like thread pulls. Some problems were minor, but I wish I had paid a bit more for problem free stuff. The prices were so low that I never requested a refund.

With prayerwarrior02 you may get a refund for her incompetence but she will keep the outrageous shipping charges. Skank!

You are right that I didn't pay much for the items - with better photos and a better listing format, I can make at least my money back by listing them myself (even with full-disclosure of the problem areas) so I might do that. I am extremely busy with the holidays, and with a move, and I don't really want to mess around with returning the stuff.

Right, I think that's part of her strategy. She charges something like $7 to ship a tie(and that's 1st Class and not priority). So if you win a tie for, say $10, and it's stained and unwearable, it's not worth returning if you have to eat the shipping costs.

But I think parisvegas has more integrity than prayerwarrior02. And his shipping costs are definitely more reasonable than prayerwarrior02.

I really think that Vman will get his refund, and he won't be out exorbitant shipping costs(even if they're not refunded).

Given that all the items were flawed, I definitely would ask for my shipping costs back if I were Vman, though I would be surprised if parisvegas refunds them.

Here is the shit I am talking about, shredded sleeve and small shredded areas throughout the rest of the coat, serious fabric snags all over another coat, cracked sleeve buttons, stained pants - definitely not Mint.

Are those the 15milmil15 Zegnas that I lost out on?

^Yeah, that's just not caring.
