Very nice! I'm looking forward to wearing mine later this week.

Here's a tip - if you're looking for something *really* nice for a lady in your life, you will not go wrong with anything from Arete Goods - they share the space with Vanda and Diana is also one of the co-founders. Just as with Vanda, you can be sure that good taste pervades their collection. My wife picked up a Penta tote in black cowskin and the leather felt *really* nice but what sealed it for me was the goat suede lining - just lovely.

Thanks for stopping by, Gerry! Hope you guys had a great vacation.

Yes, they've been ordered and should be back in stock by early August.

Spot on, as usual. Thank you Gerald and Diana!

You know you're dealing with some real aficionado ties when you put one swatch up-side-down and don't even notice.

1. Damn. I don't think anything more needs to be said.

2. Is 3rd swatch from bottom the Cinnamon Printed Silk? If so, a close-ish pic of that would be awesome!

It is indeed. I am going to take a photo tomorrow morning when the lighting is better.

It's also my favourite swatch + the blue bourette grenadine. the grey melange stripe is also amazing. I have never had a look at it in the shop before, but the swatch is great.

My two new ties...both on the more formal side of things:

Light Grey 'Grenadine' and Grey-White Oxford Weave

Do you go to a lot of formal events? I could only see those being used for weddings

The grenadine will be worn with navy conservative business dress. The oxford is a bit too shiny for business but I will wear it to evening events that require a dark suit...i.e., Dormeiul's Navy Tonik 2000.

Gotcha thats what I imagined. The grey grenadine is nice and I had a RLPL one but I never wore because I thought it was too light for me. Hopefully you post pics wearing it soon.

Thanks for sharing, gents!

Also, a quick update for those of you who ordered the Mustard Matka - the fabric samples are almost complete. They are going to be sent to us next week for approval of colours, and it shouldn't take too much longer once we give them the go ahead for production. Thanks for all your patience!
