Normally, I do the $18 (don't have the Singapore Dollar sign on my keyboard lol) option, with tracking, but no insurance. Never had any issues with it.

My best recollection is that it took somewhere around 6-10 business days to arrive from the date of shipment.

@PCK1
 post some pics when you get the chance.

@lordsuperb
 how about that shantung stripe!?

They said they would remake the shantung stripe.

I do the slowest option and it takes between a week and a half to two weeks.

Do any of you fine folks have photos of the Indigo Matka in action? Natural light a plus! I'm trying to see how much color depth/variegation there is in the fabric as I consider summer-weight blue ties. It's been around for a year, so there must be some in addition to those on the Vanda blog.

I only have the Chive, and I think @PCK1 has the Terracotta - don't think I've seen the Indigo in the wild.

If it helps to see the Chive, here you go. As much as it's a summer color, and the fact that it's not wool and has some slubbiness/variation makes it "not winter," it's not an especially light fabric. Kinda hard to explain - and then again neither is shantung so I might just be rambling about nothing here.

But if you want solid blue, maybe one of the hopsack options? I have the dark navy; it's really light and airy - no pics yet. Either way I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever you choose - and the matka does make a really nice knot; better for me than the hopsack given the extra heft of the matka fabric.

I have the Terracotta and the Chive...love them...also have our golden mustardy yellow on order.

I would strongly consider both of the blues if I didnt already have so many blue ties.

That looks really fantastic. Trying to imagine it in indigo! I'm definitely in it for texture and color depth rather than pure lightness, so the matka is definitely more my speed than the hopsack. That does help quite a bit!

Would anyone be interested in a group buy re-run of this solid navy shantung? It's basically perfect.
