Trump

Donny Trump (above) has a new book coming out: "Think Like a Billionaire". Here's a link to an article about it: http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Careers/1...ips/index.html Note Tip #4: 4. How to dress and groom for work: Trump reiterates the adage: Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. If you want to be taken seriously, you have to look the part. Sneakers, ripped jeans and nightclub clothes have no place at work. The same goes for bad grooming, including dirty fingernails, stained clothing, bad breath and out-of-control facial hair.

You clearly have never worked with 20-somethings at a website development shop before.

Well I think he's consistent . . . he styles for the hair he wishes he had.

how about the tired, old red power-tie look?? uff

Shouldn't he be a billionaire before talking about how to be one? As I understand it, he remains mired in debt and when you add it all up he's worth far less than a billion. At any rate, I consider the man a boob who can sell a project better than pull it off. Everything Trump has ever built is gaudy and representative of what rich people without taste think is appropriate for those of means. That and he doesn't impress me stylistically speaking...

Hear hear. As well, the entire world uses jeans to work at one time or another from the POTUS (and I'm not aiming this at Bush) to Bill Gates to you and me. Trump apparently wears suits (ill-fitting as they may be) to the beach. What the hell does he know about clothes? Or for that matter, the proper occasion to wear them? If you are a grocery clerk who is in college, studying for your MBA, going to work at the supermarket in a 3-piece suit everyday is just stupid (not to mention borders on lunacy). One should properly dress the part; thus one will be at least a step ahead of the game. Jon.

Well, he confirmed tonight on Letterman that he does indeed wear Brioni. I don't know if it was MTM or rack, he was sitting down so it was kind of hard to tell how well it looked on him. He also announced the "Donald J. Trump" line of suits -- $495 and up. I'm sure they'll be quality as the man himself. He'd look a lot better if he did something about his hair. He looks like a bloody joke with that horrific comb over.
