Did you drink it this morning??? That's a hell of a situation to be in, because hell will freeze before I pour that down the drain.

Agreed, and while I might consider putting Woodford on pancakes, I think Blantons is a bit too austere for that.

If you don't want the alky's breakfast you can also just pour it back in the bottle....

Absolutely not, it is partly oxidized now.

Old Crow for you, my friend.

I had a sneaking suspicion my cat may have had a nip from the glass (he had a very satisfied look on his face), so yes, down the drain it went. I suppose I'll have to drown my sorrow in another glass of Blanton's.

I was planning on hitting the bar tonight for some Woodford but don't feel like going out now. All I have is some Maker's here, so I guess I will pour some soon.

I finished my Woodford last night so I went out to BevMo today. I got a bottle and also tried a bottle of Baker for the very first time. I'll let you know what I think after dinner when we open it up, followed by a nice cigar.

We tried a taste test last night between Baker and Woodford. Woodford won and Woodford is $10 a bottle cheaper. We tried both neat. The Baker might have been at it's best on the rocks. It tastes stronger (it has a lot more alcohol) and it's flavor a bit more intense.

Brian, thanks for the link. I like the ingredients. We thought we would BBQ mini hamburgers and do a taste comparison between several BBQ sauce recipes. I'll use the one you provided and a nice dose of Woodford.

I might recommend ribs or chicken for a BBQ taste test. Burgers have a stronger innate flavor, whereas chicken is more a blank slate, and ribs to a lesser extent. Also, I'd imagine you'd use it more with chicken or pork than beef, but that's just me.
