Hi, Anderson. I'm not opposed just a bit apprehensive as I've never used a proxy before. Can you recommend one? Cheers!

I've used fromjapan numerous times. Pretty easy. Never had any problems. I also used buyee and same deal. Both are reputable. I've only used them for yahoo japan auctions stuff though, never for a brick n mortar store purchase

Zenmarket.jp (styleforum affiliate) are very reliable

The only one I've used is Stylistics, but never had any issues. I was actually thinking about putting an order in when I saw that the this year Daytons were Japan-only, but it looks like they only go up to medium.

How is the sizing on the loiter jacket and the banded collar shirts?

I'm a large in most brands. I've only ever bought EG trousers so just checking they are a regular fit.

recently picked up a baker in navy HCT to go with my navy HCT balloon pants. the colors seem just a shade off. is this reasonable to expect because of different die lots or is it possible to get an exact match?

thanks.

how long does it usually take to hear back from nepenthes via email?

They are usually pretty good, within the same day.  However, if you're looking for a faster response you should call.

The loiter is giant!

I am 5' 9" and wear a 42R sportcoat. I usually buy size L.

The L loiter jacket needed have the sleeves shortened professionally. Easily a couple of inches.

The shoulders are drop-style on me.

The chest seems to be about 2 sizes too big on me and the bottom edge of the back gaps out.

But, other than the overall "loose and flowy-ness" of it, I love the jacket. Will try-on/size down next time.

The nice thing about it is that it will work great in situations where a jacket is required, but it is too warm to wear a thicker, more constructed and lined style. And you can literally fold it up and carry it in your pocket. Hold it up to the light and it is see-thru!

Try it on first or make sure that you can exchange it by mail no problem.

I am buying an Bedford next in olive ripstop. I will report back on the fit and sizing. I will also post photos comparing the two jackets when I get a chance.

On the Ripstop Bedford, I found the sleeves to be a bit long. This is compared to the moleskin from fw15. I have to roll the sleeves up one roll. I may get it altered. The body size is similar to the moleskin.

The Ripstop feels more like a lighter over shirt vs a blazer which will be really nice once the warmer weather hits.

I know this is going back to SS15, but is the linen shop coat to be found anywhere now?
