Engineered Garments SS 16 - Page 39

Received the Vans Sk8 highs in gray yesterday in the mail. Not exactly sure what outfits to pair with them yet... any suggestions? The all gray colorway is throwing me off a bit.

Everything.

My go-to fit these days: black chinos + gray tee + Vans

Saw that Nomad got some new drops, but all I could think about was how does something like this happen?

Oh God, that's funny. Worst EG modeling attempt ever?

How are you guys? I am spending all my time and money with the cars these days. Am I missing a stellar summer season? I hope not ...

It's one of those things where the looks match the performance.

Which one did he get? The BRZ or WRX? They do something really right on those. Their blue will be a good match to my Alfa. Here are two of my money pits. One visit to one of their mechanics could buy me the whole f***ing EG summer season ...

It's the wrx sti, comes with warranty too, free for 4 years. Your alfas are much prettier though. I'm trying to talk my wife into getting a 4c.

WOW that Nomad shoot is super bad.

Seriously overpriced too. The BDU jacket is about 70-100 $CAN more expensive than at other canadian retailers.

Nomad is overpriced (and their in-store service is brutal), but they usually have decent EG buys and most of the stuff in bigger sizes (L, XL) makes it on sale eventually.

Understudy Shop and Roden Grey are two better-priced online Canadian retailers for EG. There are two shops near me that carry EG, but don't sell it online. I've picked up almost all my EG gear at 50-75% off here in Montreal.

I actually can't think of more than 7 shops that carry EG in this country (4 of which are in Toronto) so you're usually stuck paying whatever they ask, unless you want to play customs and exchange rate-roulette when ordering from the US or Europe.

@johnh123 which shops? You mean Mercantile? It was pretty picked over the last time I checked but great deals for s or m. Wish they had a bigger selection though....

Ina Consignment by Union Square and Nolita are often stocked with EG .. moreso the latter wherein I found a wool bedford for $130 once.
