Engineered Garments SS 16 - Page 37

Any NYC residents know of second hand stores or consignment shops in the city that one might stumble across EG when browsing the racks? Much obliged

I stopped by NNY today to see the watch. It's cool but really did not move me. I passed.

Yeah, the backwards watch face makes it kind of awkward to actually, you know, read time.

I haven't seen it in person—that was just based on pictures I've seen.

Hey all, so Rooneyshop.com has 20% off its S/S16 collection. The discount works on EG, plus the fact that the shop is in canada brought the olive ripstop bedford down to 280. Just fyi.

Code; SPRINGDEAL

I am a huge fan of EG, have been for a long time, but I don't get the watch. I mean, I get the concept and it would certainly be a conversation starter, but it wouldn't be the most practical and it would drive me nuts.

One of my best friends in high school had a backwards clock in his house. I was past curfew more than once, because I couldn't figure out the time. So, if you're a high school kid worried about missing curfew and looking for advice on whether to buy this watch, you are forewarned.

There's nothing that appeals to me more than a shitty quartz movement with a face that most people can tell the time on but will be slightly confused than when the 3 is backwards and makes an obnoxiously loud ticking sound as every timex does

Big fan of the watch. I have a green MWC in the same colorway and design (looks like the Vietnam era stuff) that I use for show (since the wife bought it for me). Going to pick up the navy version when available.

Thanks Fycus!

Just placed my order.

It's got its critics, but to me it's on point with everything I dig about EG.

Hello! My first post here and first EG purchase.

I got the Olive Fatigues - waist is a bit roomy but I couldn't go a size down. How is the fit, worth keeping (quick, indoor pics)?

^ Perfect fit.

My Fatigues are actually baggier, which I prefer. EG styling has dominated my wardrobe -- no more super slim fits.

Those fatigues look good. Proper fit.
