Engineered Garments SS 16

We at Drinkwater's, present to you: Engineered Garments SS 16 and encourage you and other retailers to contribute to what has become one of the longest running brand threads on Styleforum. For us, this season's collection evoked a hip, cool, 60's beach vibe. As you might know, Daiki's take for SS 16 comes from his enthusiasm and love of surfing and beach sports, hence the coastal/nautical motif. Unlike last season, he embraces lightness through color and texture while still maintaining his unique point of view on American workwear. As always, we hope you enjoy the collection and continue to help expose those who may be, as you once were, new to the brand. Enjoy!

I like the Java print and Geo Jacquard. Not sure about the others.

A solid enough collection, but nothing jumps out at me as a must buy at the moment.
I'm hoping there will be some fresher pieces yet to be announced.

i don't think i'd wear any of it TBH, i think all designers should move to non seasonal collections no one i follow does s/s well

Field jacket so far is all that appeals ..
I've looked in sales for aw and nothing really appeals there, apart from couple bits of EG X TBB ..
I've been very disappointed past 2 or 3 collections, big fan of EG so I usually check eBay for certain bits I'd like to add to my collection ..
The Bureau has solid roots with EG and has best selection by a mile in the UK, so I'm hoping for a work shirt, and a jacket ..

Liking the Loiter jacket and the various Bakers, and fatigue shorts are always a winner. Don't see much crazy stuff except for a few of the adult onesies...

+1 on fatigue shorts, that brown cord looks great. I've also been in the market for a Chester coat so interested in finding out more about that piece.

I will definitely pick up the long banded collar in white and/or the long bush shirt in white as long as I can find it in my size. I got one of the black long banded shirts this past f/w and I wear it all the time. I would have picked up another one if it was available. I like the added zipper on the bush shirt.

Not EG, but I will definitely be keeping an eye on the s.k manor hill collection by Dominic Sondag formerly of EG.

I realized the initial link on there did not show the look book on my computer, but did on my ipad. The look book at this address should work for all devices.

Everything looks too out there. Would never wear light blue and white. Don't see a single piece I like. Hoping for at least a handful of EG Work shirts/19th century BD's, and a few pairs of USN/Ghurkas/Fatigues. Also, would like another Bedford, and definitely an aviator jacket. When do retailers start selling the ss collection?

Too out there? This is kinda tame by EG standards. Couple of loud prints but the rest is pretty standard, no? And just keep in mind the lookbooks don't show most of the basics that they produce every season (the workshirts, 19th c bds, fatigues, etc.). Even in the EG season's that don't particularly strike a chord with me there are always a handful of pieces I end up liking.

I really like the zig zag pattern and the madras blazers. I dig the dolphins but I'm not sure I'd actually wear it.

But then again I guess I just don't really like the way EG is styled in the look books. I mean, you wear some wild prints, but you make it look good -- not over done.

As far as I can tell, the Cagoule is this seasons "maverick item" unless I missed something. I like the look of it but pullover outer layers are incredibly impractical.
