I like the way they to the W on the wingtip.  It's less sharp and more tailored looking.

Pardon the self serving PSA. These Alden style 662, Aberdeen last, 11 EEs are just not working for my 11 EEE feet and need a new home. PM me if interested.

Patience is required to play the Alden game, especially for special non-standard makeups. Vass, Crockett Jones, and Carmina will all make excellent boots out of Horween cordovan, but they won't have the same Alden aesthetic. And If that's what you really want, then the wait is worth it.

But I hear you!

Decided to go a half size up on the j crew shell cap toe boot and boy was it the better decision. I'm a 8 in my other barrie shoes and these 8.5 fit just like it.

Cody these are really great. What's the color in real life like? Looks to be a brown/black with some green undertones?

Thanks

My go-to casual rain shoe is the Cape Cod Mocc Oxford and this weekend has been uncharacteristically wet here in the south bay area.

Seen here in rapturous action being dragged around while the wife dress shops for an upcoming wedding.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

It is a pretty interesting color. Charcoal with a hint of green. I really like it.

To me, the Cigar Indy is probably the only one worth the 2+ year wait assuming you can get it.  I'd do the same for Ravello but I dont think that exists other then the Plaza lasted ones from a few years ago.
