Sadly I think that's a lost cause. Your best bet would be to keep an eye out for used/new-old-stock pairs on Styleforum classifieds, Yahoo Auctions Japan, and maybe Grailed or reddit/gyw. Given how small the run was and how long ago they were made (2010) and sold (2014), I'm guessing you may never see them again. @mdubs, do we know which vendor those were originally ordered for? I'm assuming if they didn't take delivery that they will not be re-ordering them... I know they ended up at DC.

@JSO1 is correct, I am hoping to get another vendor to remake them, but it will be time as Cigar isn't just readily floating around. Unfortunately, the run that @JSO1 is referring to was only a half-run of only 6-8 pairs all in E widths. Unfortunately, we do not know who exactly it was made for as it was an Asian or European retailer and they chose not to pay for them...

A few non Aldens in there...but here's the boot lineup this year. Wife says I'm Crazy.

As I appear to be over invested in Captoes, and woefully without wingtips, keep an eye out on the B&S if you're an 9.5 D us tts. Might be posting a few of these in the coming days.

been thinking about getting the j crew cap toe shell boot. but i saw a video on youtube about a guy saying he had to sell his boot because its tighter then his other barrie last shoe. then he went a half size up. Is the j crew cap toe really that might tighter? Anyone who has the j crew boot, did you have to go half a size up from your barrie last?

I have 9.5D in barrie lasted shoes, 10D in boots. I would go up a size as boots are also more forgiving given the extra support

The opinions on this are all over the place but for me, I did find the jcrew to be a little tighter than most other Barrie shoes/boots. I'm a 8.5D in Barrie and the jcrew 9D was a little roomier than I like. The 8.5D was a little snug but not uncomfortably so. I stuck with the 8.5D and they feel fine now.

For me, if you plan to wear them with normal dress cotton/wool socks, I would not size up.
