Third outing for these today. Hard to see in this lighting but I believe the newer #8's have more eggplant

Sorry for the skirt around advertising for sale offerings, but any of the 11.5/12 gentleman please pm me if you'd like a list of stuff I'm soon unloading. Due to circumstances out of my control, I'll be selling off most of my pairs.

Things have been busy, so I rarely post or get to appreciate all the lovely Alden porn. Glad to see the heavy hitters and veterans still at it (good to see Mdubs and DV and Repp and Sazon still here). Fun seeing the young guns like Jettasy owning it. Overall, I'm glad to see the welcoming and convivial atmosphere I enjoyed so much still at play. Hope you all are wearing your Aldens in good health!

Btw, black shell is underrated. My newest acquisition: Context Tanker boots in black

In practical terms... I should get the Chamois because I could use dark boots more than light. Though I can't find much info about smooth Chamois because almost everything Alden has done with this leather uses the neppy reversed side. I think Natural CXL is rustic and beautiful, athough I have a lot of Natural CXL already. No matter what, they are both unique.
All that aside... which looks cooler to you guys?? I wish I could buy both.

In my opinion, the most exciting makeups coming out are all the new non shell models from creative retailers like Yenni, AOC, Unionmade, etc. More and more it seems like Apden is limiting rare she'll makeups to very basic stock models. Meanwhile, Yenni and Adam have endless suede, calf, and rough leather models coming up that look awesome.

I still love my shell but I do agree. Adam and Yenni are killing it right now. If I wasn't on some pretty pricey preorders and going for another on Friday I would grab a few of their current offerings.

natural cxl ptb from Alden sf via the factory... Not the best pic but these are crazy streaky. even my wife was like "what is wrong with those" versus the usual "don't you already have a pair just like that?" I have other natural cxl that look way better than these.
(Going back, don't fit great anyway)

If only they ordered .5 size larger!  They never have anything that fits my foot.
