Thanks.  From Alden SF.  They have a few sizes left.  Others may sell it too, but I wouldn't know.

First Alden shell I ever bought, and I had to swallow hard before pulling out my card.  So young, so innocent...

Anyhow, I think of them as my "end of the world" boots, because if/when society crumbles, they're what I want on my feet.

I think this is a nice example of taking a style that can easily be "security guard chic" (the PTB) and making it look really cool

Is this a concern with the commando sole- any easy fix? These indys are still pretty new!

Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it.

Somewhat in flux as my girlfriend suggests I sell the wingtips (largely because I already have brown cordovan wingtips) and replace them with something like black LHS for diversity sake

great shoes. the wingtips look so nice...

Heh... it takes a bit more than that. A bunch of us aren't able to take advantage of the Asian market at all as our shoe size is generally too large for that entire continent. I'd wager good money that a #4 NST was never made up in my size... so having all the patience in the world wouldn't do me much good. foo.gif
