I think those look very nice - I'd buy 'em if they were in my size as I'm getting a new pair from AoM unless I can find a nice pre-owned pair like that and save the $$$.

Very nice Zippy, those are pretty cool with the Commando Sole and the exposed eyelets. Where are they from? Are the unlined? They are the dover cut, which is usually unlined in my experience.

Thanks dubs.
They're lined and from Unionmade.

That looks about normal to me for CXL. I am mainly a Shell guy, but those have an Indy vibe to them that works...

I think that is pretty standard for CXL, I have a pair from LeatherSoul and really like them.

I do. I brush them briefly before I put them on, and at the end of the day I let the shoes air out a bit (while I change/whatever - just a few minutes) and then install the trees, (I wipe with a slightly damp cloth if it has been a hard day/etc.) brush pretty thoroughly, re-bag and pop 'em on the shelf. It sounds like a lot, but it really isn't a lot of extra effort and is a routine. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I use AE bags for pretty much everything. They're better than what most others are including these days, and a reasonable $10 for both boot and shoe bags...

looks like a nice pre-owned pair. cxl is going to wrinkle, just part of the charm.

Dubsy, love these wingtips!! But the are not bluchers; they are the highly coveted BB wingtip oxfords (or balmorals). Had my shot at a new pair years ago and passed. Sadly, not sure I will have that chance again...

@mdubs - Those are some fine-looking shortwings!  I really like the exposed eyelets
