I think you'll have to contact them to make sure your email account has access to the "Alden Exclusives" seconds page.

Akeem:

I believe he said first "official Alden retailer" and Alden of San Diego is not an official Alden retailer.  But GF is not the first official Alden retailer in San Diego, since Alden of Carmel was founded in San Diego in 1994.

Not quite grey market. Alden of San Diego only sells certified preowned shoes in size 10c.

Happy to see another shop selling Aldens. Here's to plenty of business in San Diego (Seems to be a very good place to open a shop for us posters since there is a huge southern CA population on here)

I know it is stating the obvious, but actually going in a B&M shop and seeing shoes in person makes it much more tempting to buy vs shopping online. I almost always cave when I go in a store. For that reason I limit my visits to AoM and TSM to about 1-2 times a year.

Amazing! Mine is en route as we speak. Is it odd that this was a highly coveted model for me?

Thanks guys! I like to keep a few tricks up my sleeves pepper! :-) @adebisi thanks and congrats, those are looking very nice! Do you have the model number that is written on the inside of the shoe? It looks like a color V-tip without the tip on the Plaza Last.

Ha, I know that you are joking... :-) But as Adam points out, he was the first official dealer, I am not a dealer, but just stell used shoes from time to time at reasonable prices and Gentlemen's Footwear is the new "first" or the only current retailer here. I am hoping to swing by there tomorrow...

Ha, thanks, but it is actually fifty-one times, i require commitment.

Our shop is currently the only 'official' Alden authorized dealer in San Diego but Yes! Mike has beautiful and rare Alden collection!

Cheers!

Steve

Ha! For sure, I am not an Alden retailer by any stretch of the imagination. I am collector who needs to sell shoes from time to time... :-)

Those are fantastic and are worthy of the wear. I like the pop of those light blue socks with the eggplant.
