Great score! Especially nice to see after what happened with the Whiskey PTBs.

Very cool. Best of luck to you! :)

Any of Alden of Carmel's models (plain toe, wingtip, Indy). The black tankers available at Context and Alden NYC.

Also, while not casual, the 4065 go well with denim and wool pants / certain chinos

Thanks!

Most of them were acquired fairly recently, so the ones I have owned for 1-2 years are the #8 chukkas, the 975s and the Ravello LWBs. Of those, I've worn the chukkas the most, then the 975s. Even though I think the Ravello LWBs are the nicest of the three, they have only been tried on indoors (and once outside to take a picture...). The reason for this is that both the Ravello LWBs and the 975s are like 0.2 sizes big so I haven't wanted to wear the ravellos until I've decided 100 percent to keep them. Guess I just need an insole or a tongue pad or wear them with thicker socks, they're far too nice to just be sitting in the closet.

Of the other five pairs, I know I'll wear the two suede chukkas a lot during spring and summer. And I plan to wear both boots a lot too, I'm actually more of a boot (and chukka) guy than a shoe guy and I really love these two boot models. Hopefully I can also find a natural place for the Alt Wiens in my rotation.

Should probably also say that I wear denim and chinos 90 percent of the time.

Leather tongue? Clean makeup... and aging beautifully.

Does anybody use cotton laces with their cordovan boots? The wax laces look nice, but I'm having a hard time tightening my boots with them. Do they soften up over time?

Wax laces are cotton laces just with wax applied. They soften up after a wear or two.
