What a classic. Great looking boot Mike!

Back row, left to right, all #8 but dark due to poor lighting: Indy on Plaza from Frans Boone, chukkas (my first Alden), Alt Wien from Epaulet, LWBs
Front row, left to right: Ravello NST from TSM, snuff suede chukkas, tan suede chukkas, Ravello LWBs from AoC

I live abroad but usually go to the US once a year around Christmas, so this time four green boxes were waiting for me - the Ravello NSTs (finally!), the Epaulet Alt Wiens and the two suede chukkas. (There are shoe trees for the chukkas, I promise, just not where I took this picture.)

You have an awesome growing collection. Thanks for posting up! Which do you find yourself wearing the most?

This might be the sickest post in this thread (or the OG thread). Absolutely unbelievable. Your color 4's are stunning.

I love these. They look great on Barrie with a reverse antique welt. Beautiful shade of Cigar my friend. Enjoy!

They are natural CXL! My first pair with this leather, they are awesome!

this more than makes up for missing out on a whiskey shoe from the irregular list

now I'm done buying shoes for 2016

What an awesome score! How's the shade in sunlight? Congrats!

it's a cloudy day unfortunately but they do lighten up a lot in direct light. definitely on the darker end of the whiskey spectrum, though. I'm happy about that, as a very light pair in this style would maybe be too casual

I don't believe I'll never understand Alden seconds; I've certainly happily purchased "firsts" that looked worse

They need to QC their QC.

But, these Epaulet edition have something very unique - the Chromexcel color of this batch is very close to the original "The Hero" edition boots used by Harrison Ford for the Raiders of the Lost Ark. I have other Alden Indy Chromexcel boots but the color is very different and by that I mean great. I highly recommend this edition boots to everyone. Congratulations Epaulet for a job well done! Have a good trip to Africa. Be smart and safe my friend. Your Indy Boots are looking very good and are well suited for the environment.

Those are a nice looking pair of NSTs. Yeah, I have received pairs off of the seconds list that were absolutely flawless with no R stamp on them before, I do not understand it either...

Thanks R, I have more colors to photo, but with work and rain, I have been prevented... I was going to do Cigar tomorrow, but current weather predictions seem like that isn't going to happen...

Congratulations on your new acquisition, those are fantastic shoe. To me, living in San Diego, they are pretty much the best suit shoe available. They look baller with a Navy suit and no one here wears suits and can judge my Whiskey/Navy pairing... :-) Regardless of where you are, its a crazy rad shoe. Enjoy them!

Two different shops are actually doing them right now, but I will not disclose them in the public.

I have zero black footwear in my almost 30 pair collection. The only one that would make me change my mind and add a pair right now is a black plain toe boot with brass hardware. Or possibly the Leathersoul Pitt boot. Both have their subtle differences in eyelets/sole/welt but the black shell, antique edge is beautiful on both.
