Just a PSA to those who wear size 8.5, 9 and 9.5

Shop Lost and Found in Toronto still has two sizes of the unlined flex sole plenny loafer Van last for 500 CDN (about 37 cents USD).

Great folks at that store too.

Next time, just open up my blog and let her peruse that. It has shop locations listed next to makeups, maybe she will start ordering them for you???

You should probably add the FS ad to the bottom of your sig (easily done in your member profile page - just scroll down), though I'm not sure if they show up for folks using mobile phones, etc.  I've been pretty surprised that the two pairs I'm selling haven't gotten any nibbles here...

^^ Thanks, will look at how to do that ^^

If someone here is interested in my Nat Cxl 9D Trubalance boots, feel
free to pm me

The sales person was right - use a suede spray (Nano Protector, Saphir Reno Spray, etc) before the first wear and after every cleaning. Leather Defender is for calf and cordovan.

I finished my pre-season shampoo, spray and brush for my suedes a couple of days ago. I look forward to wearing my tan longwings and snuff shortwings this weekend.

So unfortunately I had to back out from getting the unlined suede chukkas from Yenni as planned...but on the plus I was able to source them locally.

Interestingly I actually had to go up a 1/2 size in them contrary to most of what I read about this last which puts me at the following for others referencing lasts (I believe I have a high arch)

11.5 E Leydon
11 D Hampton
10.5 D Barrie
10.5 D Trubalance
10.5 D Van
11 D Plaza - TO Tie Guy boot ordered so fingers crossed
11 D Grant - too tight and doesn't work for me

Hey everyone, I'm going to go ahead and buy some Alden shoe care products.

I was going to get Alden fine boot cream, and Alden men's leather defender.

Is the leather defender necessary? I may walk in lightly damp grass For a brief second or two, or get caught in the rain until I retreat to dry area. But, I'm definitely not going to be working in wet conditions, or pouring rain. I live in NC, it is not wet, icy, or snowy here very much.

I was thinking the leather defender would be good on the sole edges? Just for extra protection? My new Alden's have a commando sole Innsbruck sole.

Please help.
