Went for my Hunting (hunter?) green suede WTB today from Brick + Mortar. Had a hard time choosing between Whiskey and Color 8.

Assuming Alden can't increase supply of rare cordovan, what's the solution to the reselling issue? I don't know if there is one. If people are willing to buy rare cordovan models for $1,500 to $2,000, it is what it is...

Unfortunately I don't think anything can be done about it aside from not perpetuating it ourselves. It's just a product of supply and demand via the free market economy.
