I vacillated for months, but finally pulled the trigger.

Pretty sure that these were the last in my size for most of that time, so thank you world for not wanting my boots.

The green can wash out when its bright, but is otherwise very rich in diffuse light. Awesome makeup, if I may say so myself.

Lookin' good.  I ordered the tobacco version and felt like Leffot did a bait and switch.  A week after I picked them up they released the green version!  Somehow, I held off.  I kind of regret doing so now.  Hopefully they have a restock next fall.

Leffot's coming to Chicago. From their email:

Today we are very excited to announce that we will be entering a new phase in our growth. This fall we will open our first shop outside New York. We are proud to be coming to Chicago.

Our location will be in the historic Monadnock building on South Dearborn Street in the South Loop. We look forward to meeting friends old and new in this beautiful building in the heart of the city.

I'm excited :bounce2:

I bought them in 2013.

They just did another run recently.

I don't know if they will be doing more.

You are correct, Sir.

Thanks for the compliment.

I also just posted a muddy and clean up pic of these boots the other day on here.

I was amazed how they cleaned up with very little effort.

This smooth chamois is bulletproof.

Those look a lot sleeker than most other Truebalance - the 360° welt threw me off a bit, and the stitching looks raised a bit in the pic - great shoe!

LS has some really cool makeups...

These always seem to come off the shelf for a big meeting...
(though I wore the Yenni Snuff WTB's yesterday, and they are insanely comfortable - they might wind up being my most-worn boot...)

Could someone tell me about Alden's "oiled nubuck?" I am curious to know what sort of care (if any) it requires. Are there any recommended products for conditioning?

Thanks!

I sent them a note about the BB Black Fleece Shell LWB and they confirmed it was in the Grant last within a couple of days.

Yep, contacting Alden is the safest way to confirm about the last!

Ok, so thanks for the advice to contact Alden.  I did that and heard back already.  Here is their response:

Black Calf Captoe Blucherhttp://www.brooksbrothers.com/Captoe-Bluchers/136H,default,pd.html?dwvar_136H_Color=BK&contentpos=3&cgid=

Made on the SNAP LAST

Brown Suede Captoe Blucherhttp://www.brooksbrothers.com/Captoe-Suede-Bluchers/290H,default,pd.html?dwvar_290H_Color=DKBR&contentpos=6&cgid=

Made on the SNAP LAST

Calf Tassel Loafer: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Tassel-Loafers/443H,default,pd.html?dwvar_443H_Color=BLCK&contentpos=6&cgid=

Made on the ABERDEEN LAST

Unstructured Suede Blucher: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Unstructured-Suede-Blucher/MH00495,default,pd.html?dwvar_MH00495_Color=DKBR&contentpos=4&cgid=

If it is our style 00070 BARRIE LAST, if our style 46480 SNAP LAST

So now, what can you guys tell me about the Snap last?  From some basic online searches, it seems to me that it is similar to Barrie, but it fits TTS.  If any of you guys have experience with Snap I would appreciate of you can tell me how it compares to Barrie (or any other similar Alden lasts) in terms of how it looks and fits.

Also, can anyone tell me what type of sole is on the unstructured suede blucher (the last one on the list above - you can see a picture of the sole if you go to the product page by using the link).

THANKS!!!!!!

These are stunning and with the pants they're even better! I don't know what it is about these boots but they always pull me back in. For whatever reason they stand out to me more than any other color 8 tanker boot. I apologize for bringing this up but I thought I read that people found these to fit more snug then other barrie boots. Is there any support for that idea?
