Im willing to bet that you have that Luxardo maraschino liqueur for the Martinez.

Also, theres only one cocktail worth making with that Creme de Violette...  The Aviation.

Oh, the shoes look great!

Also, lots of brushing and buffing will bring the oils to the surface and push them around to fill in scuffs and scrapes.

Agreed. CXL is super resilient and needs very little care. Bick 4 is a good choice to use sparingly and occasionally.

Mack from Golden Brogue recommended VSC for chromexcel. I did a test with my new boots where I used Bick 4 on one and VSC on the other. The VSC one looked a slight bit shinier after initial application, but after a day they looked identical.

Neatsfoot oil will darken the leather, but I'm not sure how much control you have.  In nine months or so I've seen a nice darkening/deepening/toning of my CXL Indys with just time and a occasional thorough brushing after wiping with a slightly damp cloth (other than a couple of light applications of Alden Boot Cream, which is one too many).

@Steel28 Don't let too much air hit them.

Mike, the Grant lasted boot looks really nice. I like the slightly more sleekness and not the boxy toe of Plaza. Killer boot Sir!
