Ok, relative noob question. What is "natty?" I have read it with several types of leathers. Is it a maker? Is it a color? Is it slang like saying "That is bitchin' shell cordovan? Enquiring minds want to know.

Short for natural, refers to an undyed leather. Ex. natty shell cordovan or natty chromexcel.

Thank you for the quick replies, gentlemen. I wore them again and it seemed to go away. Maybe it is just a wear thing.

Has anyone put a topy on flex soles? Any issues with adhesion?

Yes and no. But I haven't worn them a whole ton.

Perfect shoes for the spring and summer, will post more outdoor photos later! Have a nice weekend Gentlemen!
Strong tassel game gentlemen.
Ds, did you buy them recently from citi or from another Alden fan?
Steve, how long ago did you buy these?
Both loafers are inspirational.

Wow!!!!
So nice to see a crispy clean pair of these. Would you consider the monks a bit lighter color than the tankers? They look amazing, congratulations.

Thanks. This photo was taken under very bright (almost amplified) sunlight. The shade is only a tad lighter than the whiskey tankers.

I really like these as you can wear them with a navy or grey suit or with chinos and dressier outfits with denim. I finally will be able to join in on Whiskey Wednesday now.

Thanks @Burzan! Now the mystery is solved for me.

I always wanted a nice balmoral cap toe, but my little wide feet were not happy with most offerings. Then I found the Hampton last and it worked out just fine. My first pair of Aldens in #8.
