I'm probably in the minority, but I've always felt that machine-stitched Indys look superior to hand-sewn Indys. These are a perfect example. The hand-stitching makes them look clunky and the machine-stitching looks sleek and smooth. Just my two cents.
Agree 100%. Wish they would consider doing a run like that.
I think I will vote for the hand stitching. I think on both the indy boots and the tanker boots, it adds a lot of unique character. I particularly think it works well for the cordovan Indy boots I have owned because they are E widths - I feel like the stitching "breaks up" the shoe a bit while machine stitching would make the forefoot of the shoe look essentially like a uniform rectangle
