I cannot think of any other plaza Ravello boots.

Alden of DC does run a ravello plaza cap toe medallion blucher from time to time, when the horses permit.

Those are both correct and pretty much the only two makeups that I have seen in Ravello.

1. Alden "Indy" Boot on the Plaza Last by Frans Boone

2. Alden Cap Toe Boot on the Plaza Last by Asbjorn Dagestad

Asbjorn Dagestad will not sell to the US market and typically only orders E widths. I talked to him shortly after he got that run of Ravello CT Boots in.

Frans Boone was supposedly doing a run last year and posted an instagram pre-order (to fill like 2 slots), but those haven't come into existence. I would guess that they were not a confirmed run, but merely a submission to the factory. Their previous run was in 2012 to my recollection and they did one run before that.

The other problem is that Alden doesn't seem to have received a batch of Ravello from Horween in over a year, probably closer to 2 now, so not much has happened on the Ravello front in quite a while.

Your infants are looking great and hope that they grow up to be happy and healthy adult Snuffs.

I've never owned a pair with that particular welt.

Went with my first "exotic" shell pair of Alden tonight; Cigar LWBs from AoC (circa 2011).  They look more like a shade of ravello, but still love'em.

I have one pair of Rancourt shell and just bought my second. They feel lighter than Alden and I don't like their leather sole. However they have nice composite sole options. Frankly I don't think Alden sets a very high bar wrt to construction.
