Being fairly recent to back wearing denim...and even when I did 20 years ago, was never was a button fly guy...what I find amazing is that I can button 5 buttons then still reach three times for the zipper before realizing I just buttoned the fly...I even after not finding the zipper have looked down to see how am I missing...only to discover what a true idiot I am...just thought I would share.

I thought that story was going somewhere very different...

"How do I get piss welts out of shell?"

There's a special place in hell for that person. I hope he doesn't reproduce. I'm sure he reads this thread. You hear me thread lurker?? Keep it in your pants.
That's insane. People are starting to treat these shoes like they belong in a museum or something. I don't know about anyone else, but I love Aldens because they're awesome to wear- not as a collector's item.

I have purchased a couple of Aldens from this seller and had a very good experience......both times the shoes were fairly priced and were exactly as described.

I had discussed a few pairs with him before in the past and usually was pretty fair. Some of his other listings are a bit out there too like the DC cigar captoes. I know we wear the same size and sure your probably interested as well. I submitted a reasonable offer and was declined so we'll see what they sell for or how long they sit. If someone pays 10g's, more power to them. I'm just wondering what rock he found these under. Or was the original owner and just sat on them, which is easy to do. I'm guilty too. The seller used to post classifieds on here as well under the same name but not sure how active he is in this thread anymore.

I think people use astronomic prices to deter fools submitting absurdly low offers.

That said, whether or not you think reselling is ethical, I think those #4 boots will fetch a princely sum. And they are cool.

Alden should simply resurrect color #4 shoes since the demand remains strong.
