Thanks, and the plain toe boot is now on my list to own thanks to your pic!

I just purchased my first pair of aldens (979 LWB in Burnished Tan) for work.  I am looking to add a second pair to my lineup in anticipation of my 10th Anniversary trip to Kauai that we are taking at the end of may.  I would like this pair of shoes to be something that I can wear with resort attire (lighter colored linen pants etc.) for a nice dinner in the evenings.  That being said, I would also like them to retain some versatility when I get home (hence no white suede).  Right now, I am leaning toward either snuff suede or CXL versions of the PTB or the LHS.  I have neither models in any color currently.  They might be a little to casual for daily wear at work, but would be fine for casual Fridays and weekends.
Which of these would you gentlemen consider to be more versatile?
Congratulations on your 10th anniversary, 10 is the new 30.
Every reason is a good reason to buy new Aldens, good luck finding the right pair. Van last is a tricky fit.

Ugh. If that were the case, I wouldn't hate it when my girlfriend says we need to go grocery shopping!

Does anyone have the details on the TO Tie Guy boot from Epaulet?

When does it get delivered roughly? Shouldn't it be in like a few weeks?

WT boot
Plaza last
Snuff suede
Brass hardware (hooks or all eyes?)
Commando sole
Antique edges/welt (360? 270? Flat or storm?)

I am on the order but never got any sort of email and now can't find the details.

Though I'm 100% sure they won't fit me I wish they did!

Flat

I agree flat. Yenni's makeups have made me love a 360 degree flat welt.

Storm - far prefer storm for most boots...

I have a preorder spot for color 8 Brixton in size 11C. If you would like to take over my spot for the preorder ($200 deposit PayPal), please PM me.

For 270 degree welts, I prefer a flat welt. For 360 degree welts, I prefer a storm welt.
