PSA: there's some nib cigar tassel loafers on ebay 9e. Not my listing but I've been eyeing them hard, would love for someone else to bid on them so I'm not tempted to...

Finally joined the DC cap toe "club". They were my love at first "sight".

Ok, it was someone's picture.

Thank you, @Ironclad I like being called an "Alden Lover"

I actually moved my previous fav. J Crew PCT for this, not regrets what so ever.

Yeah, next on my list of wants is a Plaza last cap toe boot, color 8, black edge, double leather soles, and all eyelets. I would be totally ok with the commando and speed hooks though. If she ran it I would have to put a deposit down.

This from LS with no hooks for me, the double leather +270 flat welt is great too. @inn8chiro lets make it happen :fonz:

Awesome! I have been on the DC captoe list since August 2014 haha, maybe I will get the call eventually.

Sam, you look boss in those boots! They didn't fit my feet well so I'm glad to see you getting better use of them.

I think you may be right. Variety is always good... thinking about maybe a good summer boot. What are your thoughts on a milkshake suede boot, gents? Of all the styles of shoes and boots I currently own, I realize I do not have a plain toe shoe or boot. Perhaps it is because it reminds me too much of an army boot.

Yay or nay?

I like that boot a lot...I have a few things similar otherwise I probably would have grabbed it.... I think Suede is perfect for  plain toe or simple 1 stitch captoe...

If comfort is what you want, you will definitely get it with these soles. I have the snuff suede version they recently posted and love them. I've only had them a few weeks but I have been surprised with how often I've been wearing them in that time.

I'd be all over this boot, hooks or not. Consider me down if you can get it made up

Looking good today in your Ravello LWBs. I would be into those boots if I didn't already have the 4060's.

I think that's the main issue, the 4060 is a pretty popular make up so many who wanted a cap toe already own it. Though I do think maybe enough people out there could want the plaza cap toe to justify a small run. Lasts not named Barrie do seem to be gaining more interest as of late, with the release of some plaza boots from Leffot and the recent Citishoes tanker as well as several newer Grant offerings.

Fantastic boot! I really like the Plaza last, would take one each in #8, cigar, ravello and whiskey.

I'm sorta shocked that the Epaulet Alt Wein in Color 8 are still in stock in a nice selection of sizes.

I am ok with that, I only want one. The Leffot Walter boot is on my list of wants too as my first black shoe, or something similar for casual use.
